Blogger EventWith the festivities taking the center stage, W for Woman a contemporary apparel brand for today’s Indian urban women, showcased its latest collection for the festive mood at their Vasant Kunj store at DLF Promenade. As I have decided I will bring in as many event and launch updates as possible, I went to the event on my rather less occupied saturday for some good time.
Me browsing the collection a piece at a time like a real pro
I’m not kidding
W’s festive collection is designed for the urban women who might not like to go over the top during this festive season but would like to add a bit of sparkle for the evening. The event was hosted by Aarti Ahuja, Head of Marketing at TCNS Clothing Company andSreyashee Halder – General Manager of Design, W at TCNS Clothing Company. Aditi who is apart of W Team took me through the collection and the idea and story behind.

As much as I liked the entire collection, I was rather impressed by a few specific pieces from their “Wishful” collection. It was a beautiful mix of fabrics from cotton, silk, chanderi and some really gorgeous tribal print pieces. I was told one of the piece’s (in the banner image) I liked was also sold out
well that defines my excitement. And of course the most interesting and commendable quality of W as a brand is that they have such beautiful assortment of pieces put together to create one ensemble yet you can break them apart and style each piece individually and still rock.
The event itself was a resounding success with some really great people got together to celebrate the launch and share their valued feedback. I met some really amazing people and had fun interacting with all the gorgeous bloggers.
