MISSHA India- Time Revolution Night Repair New Science Activator Ampoule

New Science Activator AmpouleOne thing common among most women over the centuries is their obsession with Anti- Ageing, anxiousness of the first sign of ageing or that first wrinkle that refuses to go. WE have seen countless remedies over the years from our grandmothers to Proctor & Gamble to slow down the process. Anti Ageing is not futile or a figment of imagination, don’t confuse getting older to looking older no matter what you do you are getting old by the hour. But just the way your accumulated wealth doesn’t decide your worth similarly your age does not dictate your appearance.

I guess the goal is to encourage Ageing gracefully, respecting the process not being daunted by its effects.

I have always wondered for how long Gisele looks so good at that age or why Miranda Kerr looks better than that 24 yr old. Its got to do with Active ingredients that goes into our system or on our face, so what we eat and what we apply matters a lot. Today practically each and every product come with ingredients for Anti- Ageing purposes, be it your moisturiser or your foundation / BB cream you can find one with a promise of anti ageing benefits.

I started using Anti Ageing products last year when my skin started to get extremely dry and sensitive and Acne Prone and nothing would full fill its quench. Thus I went down the path of Hyarulonic Acid (will discuss in details later) which can be found in abundance in Anti Ageing products. I started with the much raved about Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum, I had used it for an entire winter, one dropper full all over my face and I never had to worry about the morning dryness. Its a fabulous product but having said that its comes with a hefty price tag and buying another bottle is an investment in itself and leaving it was a nightmare, so I started looking for a replacement product with almost similar capabilities but lighter on the pocket.

So after trying a few Serums I found this…

Missha’s Time Revolution Night Repair is not a serum but an Ampoule. An ampoule contains higher concentration of ingredients than a serum targeted for specific purpose. This is because ampoule contains the lightest texture, penetrate into the skin faster and provide the fastest results within a short time.

Product & Ingredients

Now I do not mean to compare the two as Estee Lauder has its very own Cult following but as I used both I would like to paint a proper picture of what to expect.

What makes these two most famed is the ingredient present in both Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair and Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Science Activator Ampoule is Bifida Ferment Lysate, its a probiotic that is taken internally to strengthen the immune system and also a study shows that when applied topically it reduces skin sensitivity and increase skin’s ability to repair itself, which makes it perfect for ageing skin which lacks elasticity.

Now you will notice most Ingredients in both the serums are common but Missha instead of Retinyl Palmitate contains Retinol that is a stronger Active ingredient in comparison (Retinoids help increase skin elasticity and reduces Collagen breakdown resulting less visible wrinkles). Moreover it contains a lot of plant derivatives and one of them is Niancimide which is an anti- inflammatory and has brightening properties, making it ideal for Ageing spots or in my case Acne scars.

Missha does not contain any comedogenic ingredients unlike that in Estee Lauder making it ideal choice for Acne Prone skin.

Missha has a bit of sticky texture and it’s very slippery but I prefer the slippery feel as it’s easier to spread and lets me do a mini massage. Estee lauder sinks in almost immediately into my dry skin but Missha takes almost 5 to 7 mins on an average. Doesn’t leave the face sticky but really moisturised and smooth, as a matter of fact smooth as baby skin.

If you ask me how fast are the results well they are instant because of the active and effective ingredients they show results faster. Mostly the Anti Ageing effect of any product is preventive, it increases the collagen build up and helps my skin heel faster. I don’t have any wrinkles yet so cannot comment on the same. It has some serious brightening effect wont say much about marks as they are acne marks and also very tough ones but without a doubt it brightened up my skin.

I had been using this since March this year regularly at night. Its done wonders to my skin wont say better than Estee Lauder but yes equally so, it not just helped my skin to keep more hydrated but also helps in my Acne. No Acne hasn’t stopped but they are far less pain full and heals faster than ever.

Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Science Activator Ampoule comes in an opaque glass bottle. The bottle color is a gradient from bright pink rising to purple, the Silver cap has a glass dropper and interesting thing about the bottle is its neck, there is a ring on inner lip of the neck that removes the excess product as you take out the dropper so that you don’t waste any product.
