Asus Zenfone 6 Review

Im a bitt of a geek when it comes to technology and having ostracised iphone’s a long time back had my reasons I have used and abused the Android Technology in all screen sizes with almost all major brands. So like six months back I started using an ASUS Zenfone 5, initially I had been skeptical considering its not such a shiny brand and of course its really economical considering the specs, but this very reason gives you the liberty to experiment with different technology and upgrade more often without breaking your bank balance. A while back ASUS team asked me to review the phone on my blog and also they wanted to send me a device rather than using mine which I thought is so absurd, but to my surprise they sent me ASUS Zenfone 6 may be they knew its absurd.

A beautiful 6 inch screen with 720 x 1280 pixels. Both ASUS Zenfone 5 and 6 have corning gorilla glass, honestly I have never had a screen guard and there isn’t a single scratch on my Zenfone 5 in six months after rigorous, careless use dropped more than three times. ASUS Zenfone 6 is a hardworking device with a good battery backup unlike my ASUS Zenfone 5.

Although a Six inch screen is not very comfortable for my lady like hands which are comparatively bigger than most girls but Zenfone 6 comes with a “One hand mode and you can easily type and browse the phone with one hand”.

Im addicted to Apps fashion blogging is a task, last week I shared with you my favorite Valentine apps, today let me share some really useful and fun apps for android. Its a mix of apps that I use most frequently for blogging, lazing around or having fun.

Fun Apps:

If you like to read current affairs, news feeds or even blog feeds Google Play Newsstand is a perfect app for that, it has numerous in built subscription options segregated wisely as per categories. Also you can subscribe or unsubscribe as per your interest or add new feed subscription. A very easy to use application with intuitive interface and as its a Google app it works seamlessly with Android Interface.

Another Blog feed reader is Bloglovin, It is mainly dedicated to fashion & lifestyle and all or every major blog can be found in their Directory. You can save posts by liking them and discover numerous posts which are trending within a particulare category.

Fashion Style This app is the like the front row of each and every season, every designer, model and every collection is updated on time with high res pictures for you to browse. This app is a feast to the eyes for any fashion enthusiast.

Pose lets you browse outfits from fashionistas all across the globe. Basically its a one stop shop of a global LookBook.

Photography Apps:

One thing I hate about phones is trying to find the click button on touch screen while Im taking selfies, for such dramatic times I have a camera app UCam Ultra Camera. It lets you use the volume button as a shutter to click pictures in case you are using rear camera. It also has some really gorgeous filters and editing options.

My other favorite is  Photo Editor by Aviary its the most fun and easiest photo editor, I was introduced to aviary apps a long time back when they used to have online online desktop apps which were wonderful, but then I guess with introduction of Instagram Aviary launched mobile apps also which are equally foolproof. Packed with really awesome features like adding fun hand drawn frames to equally quirky filters number goes in hundreds.

Below are some pictures me and my friends took with ASUS Zenfone 6

Blogging Apps:

WordPress for those who have a day job and are always on a run to publish on the run. It lets you edit the posts, add Images and other media, track the statistics and best part is that it is for self hosted sites as well.

Google Keep- Notes and Lists I have used many Note keeping apps but none matches the power of keep, it is simple and hassle free best part you don’t have to worry about it sinking as you are always logged in on Google network on all your devices. It lets you add lists, pictures videos and is super fast while sinking.

Repost for Instagram is a very useful app when you want to share someone else’s instagram picture in your feed well if you want to give credit

There are many more but these are my most used ones, I will share more in further posts.
