Innisfree Orchid Cream Range Review

Precious or Prejudice

Exotic, sensuous & delicate Orchids are the latest addition to Innisfree India product offerings. There are over 60 varities of Orchids found in Jeju Island and this rare orchid has an exceptional ability to survive the harsh winters of Jeju Island, and blooms through to spring, it boasts of providing vitality & elasticity for your skin as well. That is why this rare orchid became the prime ingredient of this new Anti- Aging skincare range launched by Innisfree India.

I got a chance to try these products and after a month of trial Im sharing my review with you guys.

The range includes 5 products Innisfree Orchid Enriched Cream,Innisfree Orchid Gel Cream,Innisfree Orchid Eye Cream,Innisfree Orchid Intense Cream, and Innisfree Orchid Massage Cream

I will be reviewing three of these…

Innisfree Orchid Enriched Cream

My sin is dry and acne prone and Innisfree Green Tea serum has caused me to breakout unlike this one. This one works perfectly or transition weather, I use it as a night cream as it is on a oilier side and does not absorb all so soon. It leaves your face shiny and not glowing at all, but it is really moisturising and does not clog pores unless of course you slather entire container “a little goes a long way”.

Im in love with its fragrance, it lingers for hours and makes me feel so relaxed and calm. It plumps the skin and makes it glowing but its not permanent, hence Id say the performance is very mediocre.

Innisfree Orchid Eye Cream

Im not the pro eye cream types since I had a little chat with my dermat about the same last year but I wasnt against the idea of giving it a shot as some do make a lot a difference. the Inisfree orchid eye cream is natural and has caffeine extracts which makes under eye area plump and reduces puffiness and fine lines.

I have been using the products since over a month. It has a creamy texture but feels balmy and moist upon application, it takes its good time to absorb into the skin but its not sticky. It feels a little heavy at first but then it gets lighter as it absorbs. Good thing is you can use under your makeup as well, it leaves a subtle glow under your eyes not at all shiny in any way.

Sadly except for moisturising it does nothing for fine lines or dark circles.

Innisfree Orchid Massage Cream

This one is more of an indulgence item from the collection and kinda first of its kind by Innisfree, you can use it to massage your face with it once a week or when ever you wish to, this one does add a little glow to your face. After applying toner, massage the cream into your skin gently in circular motion. After massaging, gently remove excess cream with a hot towel, or rinse with lukewarm water.

This has a thicker consistency than the two but melts into your skin in not time leaving soft as a babies bottom.

Overall Experience

The Good:

  • Moisturising

The not so good:

  • Did not help wrinkles
  • No elasticity improvement
  • No change in skin tone
  • Did not help pores
  • For some people it can prove to be too oily
  • Price (between 1600-2600 INR)
