Faces recently launched a few new products and I have been testing all of these consistently since a few weeks and here are my thoughts for the products
FACES ULTIME PRO FACE PALETTE FRESH
The Ultime Pro face palette is available in two variants Fresh and Glow but the only difference is both is the blush color, the highlighter as well as the bronzer shade are same in both the palettes. Glow has a Coral pink blush and fresh has a beautiful dusty rose color.
Packaging: The palette comes in a plastic container with clear lid and you can see the product which is nice but the quality of the package is very flimsy and might fall apart easily.
Product: The blush and highlighter are both subtly pigmented but bronzer shade suits my complexion but is very light for most Indian skin tones, as you can see above it doesn’t show on my hand (my face is lighter than my hands). I really like the subtle flush of color the blush provides but the highlighter is very chunky and glittery for my liking. But the formula of the bronzer and blush is nice.
Price: For Rs 899 you get 4gms each of Highlighter, blush & bronzer.
Will I buy it: No, I wont. I would love to put my money in the larger pan of bronzer and blush rather than the palette.
FACES ULTIME PRO EYE SHADOW PALETTE
Packaging: Packaging is similar to the the face palette and the quality is the same as well.
The colors in the palette are really pretty I picked up one in Rose and it has varied pigments of pink and perfect for someone looking for a single palette to do everyday makeup and take it to night out easily.
Lighter shades are not very pigmented you have to build them up if you want a color to pop but the darker shades as well as the metallics have really good pigmentation. These go on very smooth and are very easy to blend. My only concern with these is the fallout specially with matte and shimmer colors, so Ill strictly suggest to use them before doing your base.
FACES ULTIME PRO CONCEALER
Faces also launched their cream concealer its packaging is very simple and cap has broken to pieces even when it was on my vanity always and never screwed too tight, it has a doe foot applicator which is very convenient (which every concealer has, super disappointed with the packaging).
Product: Though the packaging was highly disappointing the product itself is very good, it has a very nice creamy consistency which sets to a matte finish. though if your eye lids are dry this might settle in your lines and may crease. Im an eye cream fanatic so I rarely has that issue (PS I have dry skin). Its easy to blend and lasts easily for a good 4 hrs on my skin.
Shade: I have the shade light and its only available in two shades Light & Medium. I dont know why but even medium is very close to light so u can say its warm but no where near medium, so if your shade is anywhere warm than mine you are at a loss as it will be very grey for your skin tone.
Price: Its available for 699 in stores as well as online.
